The Mission Statement of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church:

1. Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church exists as the Called People of God.
2. Trinity has a responsibility to enable its membership to serve God by providing a loving environment in which people may discover their own giftedness and calling.
3. Trinity has a responsibility to teach and to preach the Gospel so that our sense of call and action rests on solid ground.
4. We need to share the Gospel by living in a serving relationship to our immediate geographic neighborhood, the university campus and the Kalamazoo Community.
5. We must increase our awareness of and our service to the global community with a commitment to participate in efforts to establish peace and justice.
