Social Ministry

Kids Klub Supper Hour
This program by the Vine neighborhood's Vineyard Outreach Ministry meets every Tuesday afternoon in Trinity's Fellowship Hall, from October through mid-May. Twenty neighborhood children enjoy a weekly meal, celebrate God's presence among them through spiritual activities, and learn ways to embrace diversity through cultural teaching and experiences. Trinity has been the center for this much needed program for many years and our membership has been delighted to be of service to both the ministry and neighborhood children it hosts in our church.

Loaves And Fishes (a.k.a. Pastor's Pantry)
Trinity is a local distribution site for the Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes mission. Members of Trinity and others from the community work together to bring food from the Loaves and Fishes central house, and distribute it to those in need in the local community.

Blanket Workshop
Several members of Trinity get together once or twice each month to sew quilts which are given to Lutheran World Relief. This group meets on the 4th (and 5th if there are 5) Thursday of each month.

Western Michigan University Student Meals
Trinity is one of several churches in Kalamazoo which provide on-site free meals for WMU students who attend the campus ministry Sunday evening services at WMU. These meals are provided on a rotational basis, with Trinity in charge of one month.
